1. Location & Venue

  • Question: Where is the wedding ceremony/reception taking place?

    • Answer:
      • The wedding venue in Ho Chi Minh City will be held
        • at Saigon South Marina Bay Club (SSMB), located at 32 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Phu Hoi, Hue, Thue Thien Hue, 52000, Vietnam.
        • It’s a outdoor venue known for its beautiful rooftop.

      • The wedding venue in Hue will be held
        • at The Asia Palace, located at 9A Tran Van Tra Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh, 700000, Vietnam.

  • Question: What’s the best way to get to the venue?

    • Answer: You can easily reach the venue by [Taxi, Grab, Uber, Xanh SM, private car, etc.].
  • Question: Is parking available at the venue?

    • Answer: Yes, there is ample parking at the venue for guests who are driving. It’s free.

2. Schedule & Timing

  • Question: What time does the wedding ceremony start?

    • Answer: The ceremony will start at 5.00 PM sharp, so please arrive at least 30 minutes early to find your seat and settle in.
  • Question: When is the reception, and how long is it expected to last?

    • Answer: The reception will begin at [time], immediately following the ceremony, and it is expected to last until [time]. There will be a full dinner, entertainment, and dancing.
  • Question: Are there any traditional ceremonies or events that will take place?

    • Answer: Yes, we will have 2 traditional Vietnamese (tea ceremony) at Ho Chi Minh then Hue , followed by the Western-style ceremony and reception.
    • Feel free to join both or just the reception depending on your preference.

3. Dress Code

  • Question: What is the dress code for the wedding?

    • Answer: The dress code are beige, rose-gold, pastel tones.
    • In the traditional ceremony held at Ho Chi Minh and Hue, we encourage guests to wear their best attire, and traditional Vietnamese áo dài is welcome if you’d like to participate in the cultural theme.
  • Question: Should I wear traditional Vietnamese clothing or Western-style wedding attire?

    • Answer: Either option is perfect! If you have a traditional áo dài, feel free to wear it. Otherwise, formal Western-style wedding attire is just as appropriate.
  • Question: Will the wedding take place in different locations that require changes in attire?

    • Answer: No, the ceremony and reception will both be held at the same venue, so no need for any wardrobe changes.

4. Gifts & Etiquette

  • Question: Is it expected to bring gifts, or is cash preferred?

    • Answer: In Vietnam, it’s customary to give a monetary gift in an envelope rather than a physical gift. We appreciate your presence, and any contribution is greatly appreciated!

5. Accommodation & Travel

  • Question: Are there any hotel recommendations or group bookings for guests coming from out of town?

    • Answer: We recommend staying at [Hotel Names].
      • These hotels are close to the venue and offer excellent amenities.
      • We’ve arranged a group discount at [Hotel Name], so be sure to mention the wedding when booking.
  • Question: Will there be transportation to and from the wedding venue for guests?

    • Ho Chi Minh City
      • Answer: We will arrange transportation from Tan Phu District (near the bride house) to the venue and back ON REQUESTED ONLY.
      • Please let us know if you need a ride, or you can book a taxi/Grab directly to the venue.
    • Hue
      • Answer: We will arrange transportation from the groom house to the venue and back ON REQUESTED ONLY.
      • Please let us know if you need a ride, or you can book a taxi/Grab directly to the venue.
  • Question: Are there any local customs or traditions specific to Hue that guests should be aware of?

    • Answer: In Hue, weddings often include traditional elements like the tea ceremony, where the couple offers tea to their parents as a sign of respect.
    • You’ll also experience a lot of warm hospitality and delicious local food!

6. Food & Beverage

  • Question: Are there vegetarian or special dietary options available?

    • Answer: Yes, we have vegetarian options available. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Question: Will alcohol be served at the reception?

    • Answer: Yes, we will have a selection of beer, wine, and traditional Vietnamese rice wine. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.

7. Cultural Traditions & Customs

  • Question: Will there be any specific traditional Vietnamese customs that guests should be aware of?

    • Answer: Yes, expect a traditional tea ceremony and some cultural elements like áo dài attire for the wedding party. You might also see blessings from the couple’s parents and elders. Feel free to ask the wedding hosts if you’re unsure about any customs.
  • Question: Will there be any activities for the guests to participate in during the wedding?

    • Answer: Yes, there will be fun activities like games, traditional music, and dancing. Guests are encouraged to join in and celebrate with us!

8. Entertainment & Program

  • Question: Will there be any special performances or entertainment at the reception?

    • Answer: Yes, we’ve arranged traditional music performances and modern entertainment. We also have a DJ lined up for the evening’s dancing, so feel free to join in on the fun.

9. RSVP, Kids & Plus-One

  • Question: How do I RSVP for the wedding?

  • Question: Can I bring a plus-one to the wedding, or is the invitation just for me?

    • Answer: We’d love to know in advance if you’d like to bring a plus-one. Please check your invitation for any specific details or reach out to us if you have questions.

  • Question: Can I bring kids?
    • Answer: While we love children, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event to create a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
    • However, we have made a special exception for our niece to be a part of our celebration as ring bearers and flower girls.
